Half gone

Summer is officially half gone. Boo-hoo. I'm really enjoying it so far. Our third move in 3 years wasn't too bad. We're not super-duper happy to be on post and in the Ft. Campbell branch yet. The first Sunday in our new branch was a bit upsetting. Not only were we missing all our friends but there were more kids in sacrament meeting than adults and this really showed when I ended up teaching Primary and there were 50 kids and I believe only 1 regular teacher. Last Sunday there were only 17 kids and now they have 3 regular teachers but I think this branch is just very volatile. We have a 40 minute drive to church despite another building being 10 minutes from where we live but the people in this branch have been dealing with this a lot longer than us. There's a part of us that is really happy we'll be moving in a year (knock on wood). The people in the branch are very, very nice though and it's been kind of fun to be so popular all of a sudden. All it took was being willing to teach Primary. :-) I am now the Sunbeam/CTR 4 teacher.
So part of our move involved packing away a ton of our junk and storing it in the garage. The kids were only allowed to keep legos and the girls' dollhouse toys out. So when a friend gave us some toys for the baby, Rose dove right in as you can see in the picture above. The toy she is holding is a Muppet Babies piano and when my husband first heard it, he was sure his family had this same toy when he was growing up. Did you?

We had one of those pools and after a while it was not quite so level and it exploded. So you can know all your efforts to make it level were definetly worth it. Cant wait to see you guys soon!

The Muppet babies piano could be pretty old...who knows. Surprising it still works, huh? Glad we could help out with the toy situation. :)
