What excuse can I come up with now?

I did it. I found a pedometer than doesn't clip to my pants, instead it goes in my pocket. It cost 3 times as much but I figure I'm worth it. I was afraid I might actually have to use it until I discovered another excuse--I don't have a screwdriver small enough to take off the battery cover to remove the battery tab that is keeping it from turning on. :-)
